Sailing training Roaring 40's (+39)
Goal
This sailing program is specifically designed for adults over 39 who dream of participating in major international sailing races such as the Fastnet Race, Middle Sea Race, Baltic Sea Race, or even the Sydney-Hobart, C600, and transatlantic races. The aim of the program is to train you to become a well-prepared ocean sailor, ready to compete in major international sailing events. We strive to elevate your sailing skills to the highest level and prepare you for the challenges and demands of competitive offshore sailing.
Program
The program combines hands-on on-water training with complementary theoretical lessons. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, including world champion and Volvo Ocean Race skipper Hans Bouscholte, you will learn advanced sailing techniques, race strategies, and physical and mental preparation.
The program includes:
Theoretical Sessions: In-depth lessons on navigation, meteorology, and routing.
Practical Training: Bi-weekly sailing trips or sea training sessions to gain hands-on experience.
Competition: Participation in national and international races to build racing experience.
Coaching and Mentoring: Personalized guidance and feedback to continuously improve your skills.
Physical Training: Specific fitness programs to optimize strength, endurance, and flexibility.

Safety equipment such as life jackets, lifelines, and AIS emergency beacons is provided by us. Meals on board and ashore, as well as transport, are arranged by yourself. Sailing clothing can be purchased individually at a reduced price through our team account.
