Corporate & teambuilding programs
Holland Ocean Racing focuses on delivering unique corporate programs that take teams on an adventurous sailing journey. These programs are designed to inspire, foster team building, and develop leadership skills in a challenging and stimulating environment. Through hands-on activities at sea and on the water, participants have the opportunity to strengthen their skills and gain memorable, growth-oriented experiences.
Half day company event
Corporate sailing is the use of high-performance sailing on an ocean racer as a business tool to enhance teamwork, leadership, motivation, and professional relationships.
Sail with your team on an Ocean Race ship. Spectacle guaranteed.
Our team of sailing professionals will ensure a unique and safe 3.5-hour sailing experience at sea. No sailing experience is necessary. We have sailing suits and life jackets for you. On the menu: salt air, teamwork, exercise, enjoyment, and boat speed. An original and unforgettable trip at sea. A half-day sailing trip from Scheveningen with 10 people costs €3,500 excluding VAT. Coffee, tea, snacks, and the captain’s drink upon arrival back at the harbor are included. Sailing times are flexible and can be tailored to suit your needs in the morning, afternoon, or evening. A standard “company outing” lasts 3.5-4 hours. Longer sailing trips are available on request.

Teambuilding at sea
Team building is strengthening collaboration and the bond within a team so it can perform better together.
Cooperation on board is like cooperation in the workplace or department. Communication, initiative, agreements, plans, implementation, feedback, and reflection determine the result. A people-oriented approach determines the atmosphere and team dynamics. In a company or organization, you can hide or walk away. Not on board; everything comes to the surface, what works well and what works less well or not at all. With safety and good guidance (4-5 trainees and a skipper), we set sail.

Depending on the weather and conditions, your team will be given various tasks, from hoisting the sails, setting the course, and rounding buoys, merchant ships, or wind farms. How does your team function, what do you think, and what do we think (with or without an external team-building coach)? It can be a baseline measurement, a half-day or full-day team building exercise, or the start of a leadership program. The focus of this day is on “how your team functions” and “what can be done to achieve the desired result in a better, more efficient, and more effective way.” Debriefing is an important part of the day and consists of three parts:
– What went well?
– What didn’t go so well?
– What did we learn?
Hans Bouscholte is your Skipper and Team Building Coach for the day.
From €6,000 excluding VAT.
Maximum of 10 team members. Duration: half a day or a full day.

Management Training at sea from the Netherlands to the UK
Leadership is not something you learn in a meeting room.
At sea, aboard an Oceanracer, leaders are confronted with real dynamics: pressure, speed, risk, and dependence on the team. During this exclusive management training led by Hans Bouscholte, participants experience what leadership really means.
No theory, just action.
No simulation, just reality.
Management Training at sea reveals how you communicate, make decisions, and collaborate when it matters most. The lessons learned at sea can be directly applied in the boardroom.
For leaders who want to steer, not just plan:
