Sailing course Driven 30's
Goal
This sailing program is specifically designed for young adults aged 30 to 39 who dream of becoming skilled to highly skilled competitive sailors. The aim of the program is to train participants to become top sailors ready to take part in major international races. We strive to elevate your sailing skills to the highest level and prepare you for the challenges and demands of the professional sailing world.
Program
The program combines hands-on on-water training with theoretical lessons. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, including world champion and Volvo Ocean Race skipper Hans Bouscholte, you will learn advanced sailing techniques, race strategies, and physical and mental preparation.
The program includes:
Theoretical Sessions: In-depth lessons on navigation, meteorology, and routing.
Practical Training: Biweekly sailing trips and on-water training to gain hands-on experience.
Competition: Participation in national and international races to build racing experience.
Coaching and Mentoring: Personal guidance and feedback to continuously improve your skills.
Physical Training: Targeted fitness programs to optimize strength, endurance, and flexibility.

Price of the Driven 30’s Course
€3,500 per year, payable at the start of the year.

Training and racing on the ocean racer BOUdragon
Training and racing on the coastal racer Mumbou (optional)
Use of safety equipment
Learning from certified coaches
Mentoring by Ocean Race skipper Hans Bouscholte
Safety equipment such as life jackets, lifelines, and AIS beacons are provided by us. Meals on board and onshore, as well as transportation, are arranged by yourself. Sailing gear can be purchased individually at a discounted price through our team account.
You will participate in the training sessions and races on the Oceanracer Boudragon. If you wish, you can also join the coastal racing program on the Farr 30 Mumbou.
